My
name is Daniel Ruijters, I have reached now the end of my education,
and am starting to look for a job. I have followed my education,
electrical-engineering and technical computer science, at two prominent
institutions in Europe: the Aachen University of Technology in Aachen,
Germany and the École Nationale Supériere des Télécommunications
(ENST) in Paris, France.
I am looking for a job
in the IT sector, preferably at a technical-oriented company, whereby
I pay especial attention at the career opportunities that are offered.
It is for me of importance to be able to grow within the company.
I have, possibly at a later stage, also management ambitions. But
I see, for example, also the possibility to do a PhD thesis within
the company as an advantage. So I am searching for an offer that
sets itself apart from the masses.
My preference lies with a job situated in the region Aachen - Cologne
- Maastricht - Sittard (the Euregio).
Already during my education
I have always highly valued practical
experience: in 1996 I have done a project at Philips, in 1998
and 1999 I have had a part-time job as a programmer at the Aachen
University of Technology, and in 2000 I have worked at ELSA in Aachen,
also as a programmer. I have done my master thesis in Paris, France,
at the ENST. In spite of the fact that my grades at the university
can be certainly regarded as good, it always has been proved that
my true value lies in concrete projects.
Further I have performed several administrative
functions in my spare time. E.g. since 1995 I am a member of
the board of the orchestra, where I also play the clarinet. In 1999
I have been the vice-president of student community A.V.Hollandia
in Aachen, where in 2000 I have been the president. When I moved
to Paris to do my master thesis, I have represented the Dutch students
at my institute there. For an overview of all relevant data I would
like to invite you to have a look at my CV.
